In this forum, please post the results of your fishing trips (the amount and size of fish caugh, lures used, water body, from boat or shore, etc.).  I am excited to hear about what other young members are catching!

My latest trip I went a couple miles away to a pond to fish from shore. Caught a couple little pumpkinseeds, and one was actually pretty big, especially for a sunfish. Caught 'em on a bead-head prince nymph. Biggest fish so far on a fly setup. (Didn't measure it but it was probably 10 or 11 in. long)

Sounds like you had an enjoyable trip, skewl.  Those sunfish haven't been hammering my dry flies as hard, lately.  Probably because of the cooler weather.

Went fishing yesterday evening.  Caught about 15 good sized Pumpkinseed Sunfish and my first Redear Sunfish off a dry fly.

Yesterday I went down to the creek caught 2 nice sized creek chubs, and a real nice green sunfish. The water temp was around 59, 60'ish and at first I tried Gulp Maggots, getting no bites of of those I switched to a bumblebee fly *(fisherfanatic ur probably right about the sunfish not biting the flies), after that I switched to a light green ?nub? lure(got it from a friend), and I caught one chub on that then I switched over to a red/white tube and caught the other chub and the green sunfish. Yup, had a pretty good day of fishing,, wish my camera hadn't died on me but ya, it was good.

P.S. I have a youtube account (vweeks181) and on there is a fishing video from about two weeks ago. I will post more up as soon as possible. Be sure to check it out!

Great video, vweeks!  Those Green Sunfish are vicious.

I might be able to go fishing this weekend, but I'm not positive.

I'm probably going fishing for tomarrow at a local lake for some nice Smallmouth Bass and White Crappie.

Well, things didn't exactly go as planned.  Caught about 20 Bluegill and a really good sized Pumpkinseed Sunfish.  I only caught one Smallmouth Bass, though.  A whole 2 inches long!

For the sunfish, I was using small dry flies.  They work well most of the year untill it starts to get really chilly.  I caught that two inch Smallmouth Bass off a the same dry fly I was using for sunfish.  I was actually using a separate bait for Smallmouth Bass (which didn't even get a nibble), a Cabela's, pumpkin flake, colored curlytail grub.

Just went fishing today at a park pond downtown Atlanta. Did not catch anything however, but had plenty of "light" bites on gold spinners, zoom white trick worms, and finesse jigs with a zoom smoke mustard added to it. Pretty good day. Better day fishing, but not catching than doing something you *really don't want to do

I went fishing yesterday, but I didn't catch anything.  I did get a few good bites from some Crappie and Bluegill off a curlytail grub  Maybe I should have used live bait.
