Why would a guy want to be a trophy member when he hasn't even gotten any test products in years or even gotten his gifts for being a lifer! HA HA HA HA that's funny, my money is better spent on junk out at Menards B.S. center.

Welcome to the forum Brad.Have you attempted to contact the club about your free gifts? if it has been two years then I would be finding out what is going on. as far as the field tests go Have you filled out a profile? It may take a while to get something. if you have already done this then contact the club.

I closely examined the benefits to becoming a trophy member and decided it was not for me at this time but other members have been happy with the benefits from what I have read.

I have been a life member since 08. I have gotten one test product. It was a couple no tie hooks which I think about half of the members recieved. They say you get a product about every 9 months. That is a lie. That might have been years ago when the membership wasn't as high. Either way it is what it is. As far as your freebies for life membership you should have gotten those weeks after your last payment. I was offered trophy life also, but it just isn't for me at this time. I doubt I will ever do trophy life, but I also dont believe you have a better chance of testing products. I used to think the biggest perk about membership was this forum; then they changed it.

First off thanks for reading, Yes i contacted the club 3 times this year the first time the operator said my fishing rod would be in my hands, at the lake, fishing in 6 weeks sounds good right, Ya well 6 weeks go by, 7, no 8 , no 9 , ay what the hell it's like July before I call the club again Ya know, give them the a benifit of the doubt ,, .And that time they told me SOMEBODY did something wrong, And my pole could not be tracked, and they would have one sent to me in about 6 weeks, WELL here I am still waiting, How many calls to the club does a Life Meber need to make before he's considered discrentled, Ah hell I don't know maybe you'll find out in the future, Thanks again for commenting on my message.     L.M. Hey Brad 3974, I guess I am a little confused at the way the club is handling your membership.  I have brought 12 life members to the club since they treated me so well.  It has ben a pleasure for me.  I received a St. Croix rod when I became a life member.  I needed to have the tip replaced twice and they honored the manufacturer's warranty for me.  I haven't had a problem and I hope you continue to contact them.  I'm sure they aren't avoiding their responsibility to you.

Sounds like you have a good sense of humor Brad. Hang in there I hope you get satisfaction soon. I was lucky every thing went smooth and haven't had a problem with the club.

    Hey Brad:
I apologize for the delay with your fishing rod, and have been informed that a Club staff member will contact you, if they haven't already.

Nope sorry Kurt, no response yet from the club. I hope to hear something soon, sounds like everyone's happy, Ya know I'm also a member of the Handyman club, and I got my final gift the same month as I paid off my membership.YA what a surprise that was. Thanks for your concern. I'm sure something'll happen.
