They don't look like they'd be good lures.

Got my hands on a Live Forage Minnow and a Moxie Minnow spoon.

The Moxie Minnow Spoon has some flutter to it, although compared to an ACME Phoebe, it's not as lively active. The print finish on the Moxie Minnow is one sided only and pretty good, but not as good as the pictures. The silver shiner has a "hammered back" that's a little more of a stamp. The Northland logo is also stamped on the back. The glow painted version is smooth finish with a barely visible Northland logo.

The Live Forage Minnow is more of just a vertical jig. It appears to be a mold with holographic print finish on both sides. Overall it's probably more of a visual appeal rather than relying on flutter action.

Fish Fry Minnow Traps do not come with splitrings and threaded on treble hooks.  The come with a split treble hook (similiar to frog hooks) and hung onto the hook holes.

Upper left: modified Fish Fry Minnow Trap with added split rings and red treble hook along with a tail spinner and single red hook.  Upper right: standard Fish Fry Minnow Trap with hung treble hooks.
Bottom: Revenge Tailspin lure for size comparison.
