Again it`s not an assumption. Do you question every person who says they caught a fish because they only have words to show? You have no choice but to accept people for what they are. If you tell me you've caught a 38 inche crappie, then I'll let you tell your story anyway you like to.  I will say, the largest crappie I've ever caught was only 18 inches.  I can only assume you've either lied or mistyped.  But I will not assume you're an automatic liar.  That' is your problem.  You come to some epiphany that I am doing something that will somehow piss you off.  You've stacked up your own conclusion, and passed down judgement without an even slightest second thought of, hey, maybe slipperybob is trying to help this kid out, but is unsure of how to deliver it.  He's a wordy guy, so it may provide some kind of challenge for him to KISS it.

You made an assumption about me and directly accused me of.  You didn't bother to even ask me.  You didn't even give me a chance.  This whole thread here points that out clearly to me.  You've turned a blind eye to me and threw punches at me at your own whim.

For the 20th time. You made the assumption that this was not a kid. He was nothing but a spammer. It`s in your words. Not an assumption. Give you a chance for what? You did not give this kid a chance.

For the 21st time...right after I assumed he was a 10 year old kid.  His posts were like spam...Get it through.  I never attacked the kid.  It was the topic!   Ice must melt slow in your head.  oooppps asssumption there.

You acted abruptly drew your own conclusions.  What did I accuse of him lying to me?  You started this assumption thing.  I feed you your same logic of assumptions to draw an understanding.  Apparently I assumed you would be capable of level headed reasoning..  My fault, for asssuuumming you've got your head on your shoulders.

If you drop your assumptions for just a minute about people...maybe they'll respond better.

are we going back to hack word for word and cross examing the meaning of each and the lexicon of it's origin to gain a better understanding of each word?

I think I understand now. You just don't care, and I respect that. I don't care other peoples opinion of me either. All we wanted to do was get your attention and hopefully get you to understand that we thought it was wrong the way you where talking to the "kids". I was hoping that you would at least see my point in the way you treated him.

I speak to all members on the boards with equal respect on topic.  I make no special provisions until I'm engaged in a direct conversation.  I'm nice on equal level and many times more courteous than have been given.  I asked for nothing else but the same courtesy I've shown.  You can at least give me that.

I don't care to get personal with cyber personalities.  I actually care about this board and how people discuss and share information far more than you give me credit for.  If you believe that I don't care, it's not me, but the members who appear to don't care from my POV.  Don't care to ask another member to clarify what they meant.  Don't care to be a little bit more open minded about topics in discussion.  You can read just about all my posts and it's like that same thing all again.  I can't change who I am, no more than you changing yourself.  You read it wrong, you jump to conclusions, you start a piss match, what do you want in return for it?  I read it wrong, I set make a neutral position post, I get response, I proceed from there.  You blow wind my direction, I blow it right back at you.  I just don't care to start something of that nature.

I kept that topic for any tips on topic, very netrual.  If the kid responded, then it gives me a point of refereence to provide help to him.  Again another assumption.  If he doesn't, then he may have to post more spam like posts, that I may have to ignore in the future.  There's no help if the help goes out to empty space.  I could easilty have jested the posts with please dial 911.  All fun and games, but it seems the current members have no sense of humor.  When I do it, it's my choice.

I guess my 1000 post will have to wait for another day....

A reasonable question is does this person really want help...because if they do...they SHOULD answer back to folks that take the time to reply in a topic.

Even if they are 10 years old...if they are for real...responding back is a "common courtesy" that MOST real folks will do.

JMHO...and not pointing at ANY of you involved in this dispute.

OK but there are one of 2 things about that. 1 what if he doesn't know how to check the forum or how it work. 2 If you think some one is Spamming then report them and let management handle it.

My 10 yo would have no idea how a forum works and with all the new threads that get started would loss their threads in a day.
