I was wonding what the personal largest fish was of all you somewhat "Young" anglers. My record is a 20+ pound carp I caught in Alabama. |

My personal record is the striper in my pro pic. Caught it off a pier across a river in my town where I honestly never thought I would catch anything. I need to second-guess myself more often. I'm guessing the sucker was about 7 or 8 pounds, which is huge considering my usual gamefish of choice is Northern strain largemouth, crappie and bluegill. |

Bassassassin1, let me guess, you live in either southern Florida, Georgia, or Alabama. Am I right? Do you have any pictures of the hog? A fish like that would have won the NAFC outstanding catch contest for sure. |

That's a heck of a fish, I fish mostly in the north country so a really good largemouth is a 5, and 15 is unheard of. I'd love to see a pic of it.

As a kid i saw my neighbor 15 at time catch a 3# sunfish. Well this weekend i caught my biggest bluegill it was 15" and very fat. Of course my rapala scale needed a battery and i was in a catch and release section of the Hudson River in New York state (Schylerville). |
