What do fishing guides do on their days off??
    They go fishing!!!

Capt. Ryan called me and said that his charter backed out backed out for the day so lets go. We have been best of friends fishing the MS/LA coast for the last 25 years. He said that he has been on a monster Speckled Trout bite. Man!! he wasn't joking. First cast I pulled in a 3 1/2lbs Speck. It wasn't fast, but we were steadily putting nice ones in the boat. We only kept about 25 and played catch and release for a while. The biggest was well over 6lbs We had to make a move after the sharks moved in. They were cutting 4lbs Specks in two.
We moved to a deep bayou and the Redfish were tailing everywhere. We kept 2 and released a bunch more.

As a friend of mine says "This was the best fishing trip I've ever had until the next one".
