I'm going fishing in the morning at my favorite place. Hoping to catch some flounder but will take what I can get. I have two of my bottom rigs set up for flounder. Since they are a bottom fish you want your leader to be short, 12 to 14 inches. Flounder will hit live shrimp, finger mullet and poggies. I usually buy my shrimp but use my casting net for to get the mullet and poggies. I'll be out before sunup. Where I go is close to the ocean so the sunrise is sometimes quite beautiful to see. In the next few weeks it will be time for me to go surf fishing. Different kind of rigs for that.
