    i live in indiana but every year i go to battle lake mn to do some serious fishing however the lake that im on the musky are few and far between can someone tell me the names of some lakes in that area that me and my friends can hook in to some big muskies a few walleyes wouldnt be bad either

    I will start you off with this look through the pages it lists the lakes in there

    Muskie/pike draft long-range plan

    vermilion , lake of the woods, milacs , forest lake, white bear lake .
    we have a wonderful musky fishery. 
    try calling the mn fishery department  and ask them . Are you after numbers or size
    all those lake above have had 50 + inchers caught on them .
    Take a kid fishing , If the fish aint biting entertain them. Photobucket

    thank you for the reply. we were hoping for a little bit of both size and numbers but we would like to stay within an hour drive of where we are staying in battle lake preferably in otter tail county.

              Muskellunge - 3,038 fingerlings weighing 652.0 lbs.*

              Muskellunge - 565 fingerlings weighing 141.2 lbs.

    Douglas County

         Miltona - 21008300
              Muskellunge - 362 fingerlings weighing 72.4 lbs.*
              Muskellunge - 438 fingerlings weighing 212.6 lbs.*
         Oscar - 21025700
              Muskellunge - 100 fingerlings weighing 25.0 lbs.


    Hubbard County

         Plantagenet - 29015600
              Muskellunge - 1,474 fingerlings weighing 399.2 lbs

    Otter Tail County

         Pelican - 56078600
