The club sent me the first book offer which I accepted and purchased the first book - Bass Stratagies. The next book was the catch fish anywhere ... which I looked through and did not find it worth the cost to me personally and returned it. It appears that once you return a book it takes you out of getting any more in the series. This is disappointing as I am sure there are other books that would be worth the cost to me and I would find interesting enough to purchase. It would be nice if you could opt to send a book back and still choose to get others or opt out of getting any more books in a series - I am sure it would not be too hard to add two check boxes for if you want to return a book only or return a book and not recieve any more. If the free gifts are an issue then don't send a free gift with the next book after one was returned.
Thank you

That is why we have wanted a members store for stuff like that ,but i'm not sure they will add them to it . Try half priced books or look on-line for them . |

I noticed that statement on the letter regarding the first book, but I thought it was only on the first book. There should be a check box or something that gives the option to remain in the book "program" even though you are not interested in that particular book, but I haven't noticed if that is the case. I have kept all three that I have received so far. |

I E-mailed the club about three months ago and asked to have just one book sent a month instead of the one a week I was receiving. Haven't seen one since! The sad part is they were books I would have purchased had the time frame been more realistic. I wonder how many thousand members have had this happen to them too? The NAFC must not be worried about it...I see it happening time and time again...and it's not like I've been around here a long time either. I've only been a member since Feb. and seen these same complaints just keep coming. I'm thinking maybe we could get the staff off Facebook for a few days and get things smoothed out on this site.

It happened to me mo65...at first the books were coming once a month, then all of a sudden, I was getting them once a week...my account balance was something over 200 dollars. I asked the club stop sending books to me. First the club offered to send me books with return postage paid...then they offered to send them once a month. That was nice of them, but to little to late. Does the club really think members want a book sent to them once a week? If they just sent them out once a month, I've would of continued to receive them. I hate having an incomplete set of anything...even if the books were outdated. (nothing like looking at pics of men fishing in polyester pants) LOL |

Hello all, if you call the club and ask them to send you a book a month they will do that akso.. Or you can ask them too send them once a year and they will do that.. That way you will only get what you want ... also if remember right you can get a list and tell them which ones you want .( but don't hold me to that please.) JOHN |

They must not know the difference between 1 book a month and 1 book a year. Like I said, I asked to get 1 a month and haven't seen a book since...that was 3 months ago! Kinda wish I had just kept my mouth shut, and read my new book once a week and then sent it back. Now I'm just sittin' here watchin' the maibox!

Ive stated before that the books and DVds should be available in the club store so you could purchase the ones you want and not have to worry about being sent something you don't want, but nobody listens to me. |

rod tosser, I've seen them on E-bay. They have loads of them, and DVDs, knives, hats, patches, you name it. That's not what I want. I want the 14 day FREE preview, the FREE gift with the book, and the prepaid return label. You get none of those things except from the club! Judging by the number of members that DON'T want the books, the NAFC should have a mountain of them. Sling one my way boys! I'm still waitin'!

It's been some time since I got a free-bee from the club, but what I think might be a cost saving improvement is for the club to make a pending shipment (invoice date is often a week or two before the ship date) available in "My Account", describe whether it is a book, DVD, etc, (not always obvious in the current information) and give the member the option to cancel before the item is shipped! |
