Might as well start this now to see if we can actually make this thing happen next year. Dates? I'm thinking August. This gives us all plenty of time to get our schedules worked out. Place? Anyone know of a good spot in the center of the state?
Campground is a must. For both tents and those of us with campers or RV's. I personally will require a tent site. Water access is important. Boat rental would also be a good idea for those of us without access to a boat. Bank fishing is key as well. Shower houses are a must have, and a kid friendly place would be ideal.
These are my suggestions. Anyone with more to add or change, please tell us. The quicker we all agree the better shot we have to make this a reality. Lets pull together and try to get an annual NAFC Kentucky member meet started. I look forward to everyones replies. |

My suggestion would be at a lake or river that has no horsepower limits. You guys figure out what days, and Margaret and I will try to be there. |

How ya doing Steve? You know how this post usually happens. Hopefully this will be the year, but I wont hold my breath.(stopped doing that in 09 lol) I was really disappointed last year when my wife and I couldn't make it down to do some fishing with you and your wife. I figure if everyone could come to an agreement by early next year that everyone could adjust there schedules. This will happen eventually. Talk to you later. |

Lake Herrington? Has anyone heard of it, fished there, or have any information on it? It seems like a pretty central location. There is Cane Run Fishing Camp and Marina on the lake. Cane Run offers boat rentals, but I cant find much about camping. Anyone else have any thoughts on a meet? |

Hey woody. How ya doin? By the first three digits of you number, you must be close by. Been trying to complete my wife's 122 things to do "honey do list". Got a new boat when we first got here and only had it in the water once. Dang HONEY DO LIST....... Jim. |

I'm still with you Jim. And everyone else who has showed interest. It's easy for me to get frustrated since this isn't the first time trying. I hope we can get some more people involved, but if not, hopefully those of us here can agree on a place and date. |
