Hey all Ga members!!!! I think there needs to be a change in "WORDS" here....Instead of  starting a "Ga Chapter" maybe we just need to have a "Ga Members Meet" like all the other states!!

    SO WITH THAT SAID>>>>>>>

Ga Members Meet in Macon Ga at the Bass Pro Shop on  I-75.  We will meet at the entrance to the store at 11am then discuss where we are going to have lunch so we can talk about different subjects such as member fishing trips, tips and tricks, tackle making, different places to fish and things such as that.

I sent a reminder some weeks ago about the meeting and got absolutely NO response  If there is no response to this post, I see no reason to continue thoughts of a Member Meet. I personally will not drive 3 hrs just to visit their Bass Pro shop by myself....I have one MUCH closer.

We had lots of interest when we first came up with the idea......but time may have weighed in on things and interest may have gone away.

LET"S HEAR FROM YOU GA!!!!! Saturday is only 5 days away!!

Greg, sorry I am not able to travel right now!  I was looking forward to this meeting but my health will not let me travel.  My fishing is limited to lake on my property, even then I have to have the help of my family or a friend just to get in the boat.  I probably should give up but it is not in my makeup to quit.  I have given up hunting for fear of falling and unable to get myself up.  I am thankful God still allows me the joy of fishing.  That's one of the reasons I joined NAFC--get great pleasure from hearing about what everyone else is doing.  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

Uncle Tom, sorry to hear this news. I was looking forward to talking with you about jig making!!!  I pray that your health will improve very soon so we can get together. Keep me posted on your progress and perhaps we can meet in your neck-of-the-woods at some point so you won't have to travel!!
