well that should tell folks allot, in order to get anything done .
the owner has to approve it .

SO when you contact the club you are only contacting a branch of a organisation and not the true owner.

Well, suspicions:CONFIRMED.Sounds like a bunch of mental midgets in IT and bean counter departments. Not smart enough to realize that by putting 11 clubs on one server, there WILL be PROBLEMS.
Of course, the bean counters more than likely have NO concept about IT,and the problems that accompany that department.
Now if the honchos here don`t like the comments that I posted,WELL,I have two words for them, and it ain`t MERRY CHRISTMAS.
They need to get their butts out of the cheap seats, and do right by the club members.

A co-worker has a quote hanging over his desk that reads something like:
You can get it done right,
You can get it done fast,
You can get it done cheap,
Pick two!

Guess which two the club(s) management chose!

Something else that would be a big help.Resize the page so that you don`t have to keep scrolling back and forth to read the sentences.
Who knows.Maybe they don`t know how,or don`t care.

Sad to say but the problem seems to be getting worse rather than better. Tom

This site has never been very good, as far as dependability and ease of use is concerned.
Not with this iteration, the previous iteration, the one before that, and even the one before
that. It just seems that instead of getting better, and learning from mistakes in the past,
the ones in control just seem to want to keep reinventing the wheel. In so doing, the site
becomes less friendly, slower than molasses in January, and just turns folks off. One would
think that sooner or later, the management would wake up and smell the rotting fish.

I believe that this site is as good as it is going to get. Why should they fix it? We still keep
coming back for more of the same. Even if we don't come back, more newbies will continue to join.
Even if they only join for one year, that is more bux for fishing trips, and what not.

So at least for us lifers, they have our money, and they could care less if we are here or not. It is
the unsuspecting newbies they are after. Maybe I should say it is the newbie's money they are
after. So the cycle continues.

Tight lines,

Yup it's still slow at best and doesn't seem to get better with their upgrades because they have too much (all their other clubs) on one server this sucks!!!!!!

Some thoughts and observations. I seriously doubt the club cares even a bit about Life or Trophy members. We have paid our dues and no further revenue is forthcoming. The web site will probably continue to decline. Apparently there are sufficient hits to keep the ad rates up, so why invest in improving the site? Whoever is making the decisions in the IT dept seems minimally qualified. Why does the site open on that absolutely useless main page instead of the home page that a user needs to access anyway? There are other websites out there that operate at a much higher level and most of them are free. Don't tell me it can't be done because others are doing it! Some of the long time members may have noticed that my participation is way down, and I have noticed this trend in other long time members that had a lot to contribute. The new members are the ones who suffer- especially those just starting to fish seriously. The way things stand I could not in good concience recommend joining to an aquaintance. Tom

You silver tongued devil, I could not have said it better. We can only hope club management are listening/reading.  But from a realistic standpoint it's pretty much a shoe-in that they aren't.  It doesn't appear they have listened much since the Dec 4th "new site" notice went out in this forum.

What just happened? After about an hour of on and off attempts to log in I was finally able to get past the 500 errors only to find a page I have never seen with no place to sign in. Are we "improving" again?
