Accordingly to BassMaster, Spiderwire Ultracast Flouro-Braid has no flourocarbon threads in it. It has half Gore fibers and half Dyneema fibers, but is suppose to be sinking as fast as flourocarbon line.
How will this compare to Sufix 832 with only one Gore thread of the eight thread weave?

Looks like the advertising in the magazine say Gore fiber is made of flouropolymers.

Doug Stange of In-Fisherman says that the Fluorobraid fishes more like a traditional braid than the 832. There was a brief review in the 2010-2011 winter issue of IF. Tom
Lifer in NE Illinois Gen. 1:28 I didn't rise to the top of the food chain to become a vegitarian!

So I've got to see the Spiderwire Flourobraid in the store firsthand. I checked the line through the package window and saw a lot of surface texture. I ran my finger on it and it felt bumpy. There was a package where the line was already checked by someone, so I did my finger nail line pinch and found it to be very coarse as well. It basically reminded me of how course Sufix Performance Braid in 20# and less with four carrier braids. I checked a few more boxes in various strength and they all seem rough. I was looking forward to some 80# for catfishing, but now I'm hesitant. I just don't want to feel the hard vibration of the line going through my rod and trying to steer away from that.
