used to use my hummingbird out of my boat with a motorcycle battery. Now I use the vexilar my wife got me for christmas a couple years ago and love it. Got to love when you see the fish attack your bait. also nice to see the bait on the flasher and get it to where the fish are.

I have a hummingbird ice 35 have used it for 2 years and have filled the freezer each year with bluegill,crappie& perch, It works well with other units in the hut , I like the big screen and it has the feachers that the others have. Like what was said before the top names are all good, have talked with alot of guys on the ice with different units and all like their units. I got my hummingbird because it was on sale and will not leave home with out it.

I've been using the new Vexilar FL-22 HD this year and will never ice fish without it again. The split screen that allows me to focus on the bottom 6 ft is awesome and the target separation is amazing. I figured it will be the only one I buy, so why not get all the bells and whistles. I,m sure glad I did. Definitely worth it.
