Hmm...I'm not experiencing these speed problems...what's up with that? Almost sounds like I finally came out on top with one of these issues. Feels pretty good too! |

No speed issues here either. And no defaults either. I'm happy. |

This is without a doubt the slowest site I visit. I have noticed that the site spends a lot of time "transferring from Facebook". I have also found that using Firefox to access the site improves speed and cuts down on the errors over IE. |

Agreed with Pegsguy...This is the slowest sight I visit by far. Mo and 151 convinced me to use firefox and I have to say F.F. does speed things up a bit and with less errors. |

The "add reply" button doesn't work. The message I get is, "this site is down or doing maint.". So I can only use the "quick reply" to make a post! How many years does it take these IT guys to get it right??? |

Turnip and I have been around long enough to remember what this site was like before the "improvements" started. Very few of these improvements have actually resulted in a better experience for the user. Granted, we didn't have a personal page but no-one ever missed one either! You could also post a picture without going to a third party site like Photobucket with just a click on the add photo button. I am all for progress but this doesn't fit my definition.

When I first started posting on this forum I had an awful time trying to post photos directly from my files. Everyone said "use photobucket"...and I thought that was ridiculous to have to use a photo hosting site just to put a picture on here. Against my better judgement I finally went there, and am I glad I did! The initial job of moving my photos there didn't take as long as I thought it would, and was actually quite fun. You can edit photos(nice for color and contrast adjustments) and once you have them in there, you're right back to that "click of the button" ease PG was referring to. Wish I could think of something to help turnip...maybe one of you techies can help him. |

The site speed is better, but it does "hang-up" when navigating around the site (longer than it should). The "add reply" button has been an "on & off again" issue for several years...The adding picture issue has cropped up several time over the years. It has been mostly due to the site manager changing how pics are posted to the site. That being said, once I learned the mechanics I had no issues. Thanks for thinking of me, mo65! Pegsguy, I agree about the "personal page", but I guess the site manager felt it was a good trade-off for how we used to message each other, and I'm not sure we can do group communications unless we use the "personal page." |

Site speed is still garbage for me. I pick and choose what I click on now instead of viewing freely. |

Just here recently, I have noticed a slow down like all of you guys are experiencing. Even been dumped a few times lately...I guess this problem is never going to go away. |

I haven't seen a decline in speed lately, but then it wasn't very good anyway. Of late though I have been getting increased "site down for maintenence" messages. |

Well they do have to update the content, like the contests blogs and everything else including the add content so yea the sight will be down when they add this content . I do believe that the my page content is probably what is really slowing the sight down ,as when you post something on your wall or someone else's it shows up on every ones. |

It’s a little slow here and there but in no way is it turning me off of the club or the site. Fanatic- I had that happen to me about 6 months ago. I called them and let them know and I never heard anything else about it. Happy Fishing Bassman |
