I am tired of seeing that little blue circle going round and round. But that is not just on this site.
I am not a fan of how you post pictures either. It works, but I remember when you just copied and pasted. But I will adapt and Overcome !! |

Welcome RM. I don't have a problem with the speed. I am from the Northwest, like Washinton State. Just get involved and get to know the guys. You will never know what you are missing unless you get involved. Got you on my radar. lowwater |

The site runs better for me in Firefox than IE but is still slow. One day the magazine will go paperless and the club better get the site straight before that happens! Think members are unhappy now? Just wait |

You would think that with there not always being a lot of people on the page that it wouldn’t be so slow. Where is web guy Greg on this? I mean its slow, nothing to not make me still come here every day. If the club went paperless I think there will be a lot of unhappy campers and there would be a lot of people leaving. If you look at all the members on here it seems like only 25% use the forums. I wish I would have joined sooner. I have been a member for about a year now. But it sounds like the site used to have a lot more activity then it does now witch is a bummer. Happy Fishing Bassman

Before 2007 this site rocked! It workrd great and many members were active...A lot have left and won't be back...And I get the feeling that the club management doesn't care! That is why I won't go trophy or anything else with this club. The members are great but that's about it any more... |

I am using Internet Explorer Browser. I just checked to see how long it took to get on from the Email notice, 5 seconds. I then switched from one page to another and then back to the forems and from that back to this page and they all switched in 4 seconds or less. I can go from this page to my profile in 6 seconds and from that to chat in 4 seconds. Or back to forums in 3 to 5 seconds. I don't see any problem with that. Our provider is Frontier, formally Verizon.I can go to my favorites and click on the Fishing Club and the FC home page comes up in 6 to 10 seconds. Sorry fellows but I too used to get failures and slow problems too. But not in a long time. I too would like it made easier to post pics on the forums. I haven't mastered photo bucket yet and don't know if I ever will. Tight Lines to all of you. |

This whole issue makes no sense...there is no pattern to it. Like lowwater...I have no speed issues...but I am in Ohio...so its not a midwest thing. I have noticed a big increase in those "site down for maintenance" messages, but I just open another window and I'm right back in. It is a damn shame that a club this size can't get their site working right...makes me wonder if anyone is really concerned upstairs. I noticed also lowwater commented on figuring out photobucket. Let me tell you guys, if I can figure it out, anyone can! Just get on there and fiddle with it...it really is easy to get on to...and once you have it down posting pics is a snap. Anything that makes this "nightmare" site easier to use is worth doing. |

Seems the only format anyone ;upstairs' is reading and following is facebook. Seems to be where the wigs hang out. Tight lines, salty Dan |

I have recently made an interesting observation: If you log in and look at the N.A.F.C. Homepage you will see that is very elaborate and quite professional in it's design. Moving animated graphics, sophisticated advertisement campaigns, recent and "cutting edge" lures displayed in all of their glories, etc. So, my question is this: Why does the main page of the site look so well designed but the rest of the site perform so inadequately? My guess is that they are just, to use a crude expression, "putting lipstick on a pig." The proprietors of this site only care about making money and as a result, have little interest in member satisfaction. |

For the doubters about site speed for forums. I've been on MTF for over 2 years and I can tell you this site is slow. Check it out http://www.mytractorforum.com/ The MTF site by no means the greatest but it is much faster and much easier to post pictures. I have noticed that picture posting is darn near impossible, try an album, gezz... very disappointing when you select and upload all thoughts pictures and puff there just gone. So the short answer to this is "yes" its turning off members. I was very excited to join this forum, To tell the tells of my camping, canoeing and fishing adventures but, now am unsure if it is worth it. I hope this post and I don't have to retype, I'll copy and paste before I try to post, just as a JIC. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, well I just got some crazy pop out saying the site is down for maintenance. |

I traveled to many member meets in the past, posting a journal with pics of the trip, very well liked. Only to see them wiped out by various BB changes. I don't even bother now...If I do I make a copy and keep it in my hard drive... |
