I have been getting these offers for lifetime membership but there is no talk of cost in the offer. I have learned if you have to ask then you cant afford it. So stupid me has to ask. How much is it? How does it work? The only thing I see is they want $12 a month. Is there a total that you eventually pay off or is it that price per month forever?
Thanks, Confused

Hello brad, the cost is right around $280.00 to become a life member...they will take all that you have paid off that price and thats how they come up with what you owe to be a life member..then you pay around $20.00 amonth until it is paid in full...i hope this helps JOHN |

Hey Brad...Their are many benefits in becomming a Life Member. Click on the benefits tab and you'll see. The cost is around 280.00 which you can choose monthly payments at around 20 dollars a month or pay the whole amount. You'll recieve free gifts for becomming a life member. You'll get a lure/jig carry pouch, a rod case and a Shimano rod and reel with your name on the rod. Also life time NAFC newsletter and magazine. You'll have a chance at product testing and keeping the products. The club will also start sending you books/dvd's and other product offers, which if you choose to keep,(the books) is around 26 dollars. If you choose not too, you'll have to send it back. It can add up pretty quickly, but it's worth it if you ask me. I'm an avid saltwater fisherman, and the last 2 years I've been getting into freshwater Bass fishing. I've learned alot, from the club and doing my own research. So all n' all...it's worth becomming a Life Member. Good luck with your decision, Vito. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All.... |

The rod, reel and case I received for becoming a Life Member were definitely "High Quality." The reel is one of the best spinners I've used yet! |

Thanks all of you for the information. I think, now that christmas is over I will go ahead and sign up for lifetime. Sounds like a heck of a deal. I have only been fishing for about 4 years now but I often wonder why I never picked it up before. My father in law got me hooked (pun intended) one night fishing in a pond behind his place. I caught a flathead which was 40lbs! That's a heck of a first time fish he says. |

Hey brad, welcome to the forum and the club and nice job on that flathead. I can tell you from experience that it doesn't take long for the benefits to more than make up for the money spent. hope you enjoy. Brian |

The benefits are many , But the friendships you make through this club are some of the best benefits the club has to offer you . I have fished with other members,Ben a guest at there house ,gotten a wealth of hands on fishing knowledge, how can you put a price on that. check out member meets and see if there is one near you and try to attend you wont be disappointed .

I am beginning to notice that myself rod tosser. I am pleased at the multiple responses I have gotten from such a small question. Seems like everyone here gets along pretty good. It would be nice to find some people to fish with. I do have an old cell pic of the flathead. Its low quality but I can post it if I am allowed to post pics on here. |

there is a few ways to do it . in the forums most use photo bucket then use the img code . [img] url goes here [/ img] but with out the space in the last part so it be bracket /img bracket you need to post it with add reply instead of quick reply .
if that dont work try drag and drop with fire fox i click add reply then i open a new window with the hosted picture and drag it to the bbs reply box.But make sure the courser is showing in the reply box buy clicking the space bar once. you can also upload a photo to the forums photo album .
the last option is to upload a photo to your my page or some one else's page or to a group but that option will resize the photo and one wont get the original size. just a thumb print .
you can also send some one a zip file or a pdf of your picture . simple way to make a pdf file of a pic . is to change its tag erase the .jpg and replace it with .pdf
