I have nearly surpassed all my fish catching goals for 2011. I have caught Crappie [both species] LMB, Walleye, Carp, Drum, Gar, Channel Cat, Perch and Bluegill. Right now I have caught well over 700 fish, and still have over half a year to get to 1,000 or better. I have fished many more days already in 2011 than in 2010.

Been buying much better quality used and new rods and reels this year, so the cleaning and repair of more of them for 2011 than 2010 may not be accomplished. = I won't cry over that however. As far as selling them, will have to see what I make as final income for 2011. But I should surpass 2010's total at my current sales rate.

Should be at the Lacrosse, WI. meet in July.

So far I haven't fished with any NAFC members at Harry S Truman Res. in MO. I hope to change that later this yr.

An update for my 2011 goals

Goal                                                      Actual
110 Days                                                68
7 States                                                   6
25 Species                                                12
3 Countries                                                1
IKE 40"+ 20lbs                                         1 (44" est weight 22-24lbs, bruiser)
3 days outfish my son                              5

Now the excuses:
Had my rod in Mexco but ended up working on my planned fishing day = 1 country, 1 day, and at least 1 species
Sick and cancelled family vacation = 7 days, 4 species
Worked way too much and missed most ocean fishing = 10 days 5 species
Worked during most of the peak of Coho and Chinook season = 10 days (I caught both, but missed the Chum Salmon season during the same time period)
Didn't get sent to Canada for busines = 1 day, 1 species, and 1 country

I will keep the same goals for 2012 and am off to a good start with 7 days and 2 species in the first 14 days of the year.

Fish all I can, when I can.
Catch as many Species as I can. Esp. = Crappie and Walleye
Try to meet and fish with more fellow NAFC members in KS and MO.
Go to the LA Crosse, WI meet,... It's Fantastic if anyone can get there.
Try Vicious Line [Mono 8 lb.] for the first time.

I didn't come close to what I wanted to do either Dave. So don't feel bad. Excuses mainly the weather very rainy season then hurricane Irene hit lights out. Upside after hurricane I worked alot & bought some new fishing gear.
Never caught a pike or walleye or Landlock or rainbow this year.
