Arizona U.S.representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head as well as at least a dozen people in Tucson today. Please pray for all the victims of this tragic act.

I hope we all will.

Hearing stuff like this really disturbs me. It makes me wonder what is going trhough these folks head's I had seen the incident a couple of weeks ago about the guy in florida firing on the folks in the schools board meeting and it made me wonder if there is truly anywere you can be safe.

Whay do our childern have to look foreward to growing up. you hear about stuff like this on an almost daily basis. back in the day when you were in school if you pissed off someone you duked it out and then it was over.

I pray for these folks and their families.

These acts sicken me to my core!! There is a Anti-American movement growing in our own backyards.(In my opinion NO american would attempt to kill a Congressman,Senator, or a President) Although I am not religious I do feel WE NEED TO PUT THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE BACK INTO OUR SCHOOLS!!!! At least then we can keep the number of home grown terrorist and *******s like this to a minimum. Just my thopughts on the whole thing.

I'm with you on that one, Fred. This kind of thing absolutely needs to stop; no American should feel the need for such a senseless act of violence against a government that is effectively under civilian control. If someone chooses to not take part in selecting government officials, that's their problem, tough s*** for him. One last thing, that church (Westboro Baptist Church) that is planning on protesting at the little girl's funeral should really stick a sock in it, they're not helping anyone and they know it. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tuscon, Arizona this week.

a protest has no place at a funeral no matter the reason. yes I understand fredom of speech but have a little understanding regarding stuff like this.

A Phoenix radio host offered to let those hate mongers on his radio show this morning in order to keep them away from Tucson and the funeral. Westboro agreed and did NOT go to Tucson .Those people make the KKK look like nuns!
