Hello to all...I'm sure this question has been asked a few times, but I cant seem to find it, or any answers, but here goes. Can anyone please advise how many books are in the collection? (the monthly NAFC books). I think i'm up to 10 and it seems like it never stops. Now I'm getting 2 a month. One at the beginning and one at the end of each month. The books are ok, some are repetitive. Just when I get my balance down zero, more books are appearing. So if there's an end it sight to the book collection, I'll just ride it out. So if anyone knows how many books there are in the collection, Thanks...
Oh..one more thing...On Dec. 22 I recieved an e-mail from the club for an "official" product test. The test product was a fillet knife (of course) from Schrade-old timer pro fishing knife. The e-mail said i should recieve the product in 1-3 weeks. It's been 3 weeks and haven't recieved anything yet. (except more books...lol) Should wait another week or two or contact the club? Any suggestions would help.. Thanks...Vito

As far as the field tests- my first product came about 4 1/2 weeks after the email. My second field test product arrived in my mailbox 2 days ahead of the email with absolutly no explanatory paperwork. Save the email as it has the link to the test report form! Be sure to fill out a new profile afterwards as your old tester profile gets pulled when you are selected. I opted out of the book program but I would guess that there is no end until you quit. Why should the club give up a revenue stream? Tom

Hey Tom, thanks for the reply/feedback. I'm still not sure what to do regarding the books...I dont mind them to a certain extent...I wish they were more up-to-date. They look like they were written in the late 70's/early 80's and just re-published in 2010..lol. One example when they talk about fishfinders and chartplotters...The equipment they reference to is so old and bulky, it should be in an antique shop or a museum..lol.
But anyways...I'll give it a couple of more weeks before I contact the club about the product test. I didn't join the club for that, but to finally be selected for a real "official test product" and not the "free product test" that comes with each issue of the books (mostly fishing line or plastic worms) was pretty cool I thought...then to be disappointed...so far..lol

I had to have them stop sending at one time due to some postal worker
wanting them  more then me.They would take the book and gift out and
deliver me an empty box.
But when I did start back up it stopped after the 11th one.
 

Oh by the way, When they do send things like that
I feel they should leave the message "FREE GIFT INSIDE"
off the package. It's too enticing for some dishonest people.

So it looks like there might be an end insight to the book collection...lol I know what you mean Eagle Eye...My postman sux. I live in a pretty populated area...Queens NY. He leaves packages right on the front door...doesn't ring the bell or knock..anyone walking by can take the packages. And I caught him leaving packages by the front door that required a signature...He doesn't care. Another time...last winter I ordered 2 Quantum Cabo rods...Both rods were close to 400 dollars. I watched him get out of the truck..put them in front of my door and leave. They required a signature. I came out the sidedoor to my house and confronted him...WTF???? He didin't care..and just drove off. If it werent for my job, that dude would of had a serious problem...UPS is so much more effecient. The UPS guy that delivers to my house is golden! He knows to place packages at the side door..so noone from the street can see them. What can brown do for you! lol NAFC should consider using UPS.

hello im still kinda new to this site i guess joined in may of 2009 i got my first product test item and went to the address listed on the paper to write my report on it and it gave me a 404 error for it is there something wrong ? www.fishingclub.com/report didnt work for me my email is night_Owl@allxtremenet.net if u have any info on this cause it kinda confused me thought maybe it might be a small glitch that wasnt noticed yet thanks for your time
