Well today was a long day, just got back from The Fly Fishing Show in Marlborough, Mass. It was such a great time, there was so much going on. There were tons of booths, some of them were raffles, a bunch of fly-tying supply booths and some very famous fly tiers. One of these booths was the Enrico Puglisi booth where actually I met Enrico Puglisi and got a really ornate fly that he tied right in front of me. That was really cool. Then we headed over to the casting area where a German guy named Mike did a tutorial on Spey casting, single and double handed. He even showed off a double haul without a rod, just using his hands. (And let me tell you, this cast was wayyy batter than anything I've been able to pull off so far

) There were fly tying seminars going on, and all the rod and reel manufacturers were there, too. I got my hands on some Sage, St. Croix, and G. Loomis rods that were really nice. There was another guy there advertising trips to Canada and Chile who was the holder of 22 former and 9 current world fly fishing records. It was really astounding. If anyone can get a chance to go, I would very highly recommend it. It's a really great time. (They've got shows in CA, CO, PA, NJ, NC, and the one I went to in MA still has another day to go) Also, I heard that Lefty Kreh is at most of the shows, but not the day I went, though.
