I went out to Topock Marsh@ Catfish Paridise on Friday.  Water was muddy (wind) and low (seasonal).  Did hear a few shots (duck season still on).  Didn't catch any fish, was able to do a little tackle tune up and just have a relaxing few hours, to me that's an OK start for the year.  Mow I need more and better.  Have a good fishing year everyone.

Hope your fishing has picked up since this post. And by the way, thank you for your service in Vietnam. Not sure if you hear it enough or not, but it's appreciated by those who know the price of freedom.
