I live in Tennessee, & in the winter it gets cold. I live near a big natural pond that is full of  many species of fish. Over the years I have found that I catch the really large bass then. In the spring the fishing is good, & the usual summer bite is good morning & evening, but I have caught several big bass in excess of 7 lbs. during the coldest time in the winter. Has anyone else experienced this in their home ponds or lakes? If so please elaborate-
