Like it or not, fishing electronics are here to stay. How about a show or two devoted to what kind of electronics are available and what they are used for? There sure seem to be an awful lot of questions about electronics here in the forums! Tom

Sounds like a great idea.  When I was fishing before my health got bad, I remember the Loran units were becoming popular and digital was the future.  GPS  seems to have become a big boost to everything.  During those early days I found books and brochures that explained intimate details that were very helpful.  Now I am sure there are DVD's that offer the same.  If not already, it seems a great time for companies or clubs to make these educational tools available.  Often, they are led to appear much more complicated than necessary or reality.  I like the idea of a chart plotter and depth finder or fish finder combined even to the point of using same unit on two different boats.  Don't know about everybody else but the more times I use something the more I get use to it.  Obviously, they are very important in the fishing of the future.  Any ideas?  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.
