I went to my mailbox and low and behold I have beeb nominated to become a member of the NAFC

Even though I have been a lifer since 99 the club still thought I may be able to inprove my fishing skills by becoming a member again and hopefully be offered a lifetime membership in a couple of months. Don'y get me wrong, I still appreciate the club and all that is provided. I just found it interesting to see their sales pitch now. I wish I still had my ond letter to compare. has this happened to anyone else?

I have heard of this happening, usually when someone who is a member as "J Smith" takes a magazine subscription or makes an online purchase as "John Smith". Computers really are incredibly stupid, they just have vast memories! Tom

The only thing I can think of is that I receive all my current benefits and mags at my PO box. This came to my home address. either way I got some new stickers for my truck/

Hey Brian, hows it going. I hope all is well with you. I haven;t had this happen to me exactly, but something that struck me as odd did. about 20 Years ago I joined the NA hunting club. I wasn't ever a life member or anything and for whatever reason just let my membership expire. About 2 months after I became a lifemember of the NAFC I received an offer to become a double lifemember in both the hunting and fishing club. I'm guessing that my becoming a lifemember to the NAFC set off some kinda flag to cause this. The pitch for this was also pretty intense!! LOL They were really buttering me up. Heck, after reading that letter I thought maybe I could even start my own tv show or something. HAha it could be called the mediocre outdoorsman LOL. Tom is right computers are really goofy sometimes. Have a great day and enjoy those stickers!
