    Ever since you changed the website, I have found it nearly impossible to login.  I never had a problem with the old website.  I like the new look, but it takes as many as 8 tries to get logged in if I persist.  If you need new servers, then you'd better get some.  but I keep getting an error message and I'm getting a bit tired of it.  Of course you probably never look at the forums.

    I can't believe this guy posted this in feb. and no one has answered it! I've had the exact same problem, and the only cure I could find was to go to Mozilla Firefox. This is like the third or fourth post like this that I have answered. Sounds like something that needs addressed!

    As a Trophy Life Member, I am greatly disturbed about the problem many of us are experiencing with access to the website.  It takes 30 minutes of down to earth patience to even get close to getting in.  I have been trying for almost 2 months.  As a disabled person, the forums gave me something to enjoy but now all I get is great ideas for life insurance, etc.  Help!  Help!
    Help!  Earth to board members............!  As a retired pastor I have buried a lot of people, I guess I should bury NAFC.  Can anybody up there hear us?  Uncle Tom
    I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

    I don't understand where your problems are originating from. It can't be the site because I login every day in a matter of seconds. It may be that you are using an obscure browser or something? Mozilla Firefox is the best browser to use for this site by the way. Trust me. Google Chrome also works okay but some of the site's features don't work with it either. Make sure also that when you login you check the box that says "Keep me logged in" or something to that effect. Hope this helps! Maybe someone that is better with computers will post some better information.

    Hey Captain Quantum: You're right, it's not the website. I've been using Mozilla Firefox myself and it does work the best. Also, I tried Davesett2000's tip about the IE8 compatibility feature and it definitly solves the login troubles, but navigating the website is still slower than when using Mozilla Firefox. I've seen so many posts about login problems in these forums that I can't believe the club hasn't addressed it, so I sent a message to Web Editor Jim Edlund. Mabye they can get this cleared up and get some life pumped into these forums! Either that or they're gonna loose the handful of us that can get on the site! <!--StartFragment -->

    But they don't give a rat's behind about this site. They only care about how many "Likes" they get on Facebook because that's where the money is at. At least that's my opinion.

    Ain't that the truth! Sometimes when this place seems like the city morgue, I'll flip over to facebook and the staff is responding to posts as quick as they come in. Then I see posts in here months old and unanswered. How many times have you been on here and go to the bottom of the forums page and see you're the only one on the site?! It's a challenge to find someone in the chat room too, I think there's only about a dozen of us using it.

    Hello all;

    There once was a time when a couple, maybe it was three guys who came here to this website from NAFC, to rectify the login/500error/slowness of this site. But that was several months ago now, and they only came when members raised such a fuss about it on 'FACEBOOK!" It seems that once they placated us enough, and did the very minimal they could do to satisfy us here on this website, they have abandoned us again in favor of their beloved 'facebook'.

    It seems that the only reason they keep this site up and running is to recruit new members, then to direct them to facebook.   I for one don't like facebook. It has too many faults and idiots there. I could care less about how many times someone has gone to the bathroom, or how many sheets of TP they use to wipe their behinds.   I come to this site for fishing info, not how many times a person has sneezed today.

    Facebook is too hard to follow and find pertinent data. It is almost impossible to find any but the last post about the latest and greatest lure or fishing hole, or anything else for that matter.      There is no orderly way of archival, as there is here. Too many idiots there. Of course we have our share here too, but they run amuck on facebook.

    Good luck on getting anyone to look at this website. If you are a life member, they already have your money, so forget about using money as any leverage!

    At any rate, this site is faster than it was earlier this year. It is more user friendly, but it still needs work. I have to give credit to several folks at NAFC...Wes, Greg, Joel, and I am sure there is another one or two that actually tried, and succeeded to make this site better.      It only took several hundred messages here, and several more at facebook. The facebook posts got the action started. Guess NAFC didn't want to get a tarnished face there!

    Tight lines,

    Salty, I could not have said it better...i too like coming on the site and the speed is alot faster then in the past..In the past if you did not get on the site on you would miss alot of good info now you can get once week and not really miss to much...I don't get on facebook and probably never will. It's to bad that they don't care about the members they have..I'm a lifemember and did buy almost all of the books that they send out ,I'm also on my second knife,I really like them they will make a really nice gift for my grandson someday......JOHN

    I wonder if its faster because of site improvements or just a lack of users?   SmileyCentral.com

    Try a couple of the following, Try a new webbrowser, Safari, Firefox, Google chrome and i heard IE has a lot of problem's, May also have to do with your security program because it thinkks the Fourm is a "Phiser" also try running a defrag, It makes your computer run faster, Free's temp space and clears unneeded files.

    Hope this helps
