    Has anyone else heard the rumors that Bass Pro Shops wants to build a new store in Wisconsin? I have heard Green Bay as one possible location but nothing else.

    According to the jsonline on Jan 20th, Bass Pro has approached Menomonee Falls to see what type of tax break they could get for a new store.  If the deal goes through, the store would be at the intersection of Pilgrim Road and Hwy 45, or about 15 miles south of the Cabelas in Richfield.

    Wow! Don't know first I've heard of it. I would just like to have one here   !!!!!!! Chicago is just some place I don't care to drive to!!

    Comparing Gurnee, Il to Chicago is kind of like saying that Green Bay is a suburb of Milwaukee! Jay Cutler can almost throw a football from the Gurnee BPS to the Wi. state line. Tom

    Well from what I've heard, it appears that it's a no go , BPS told Gov. Walker that they would not build on a wet land so I guess were not getting one unless they come up w/a different place to put it!!!!

    Actually, BPS refused the Green Bay location...Menominee Falls is still a possibility.

    Don't count on it they were going to build in Minnesota to .Once at the mall of America then in Rogers to compete with Cabella . nothing more ever heard .
