A few of us guys from the ohio chapter are putting together a small fun panfish tournament at CJ Brown Res on May 21st. This is at Buck creek State Park east of Springfield. Would like to invite any of you from Indiana that are interested to come and join us. I will post the details if there is anyone that would like to come. We usually have a fish fry afterwards.

I'm very interested. Depend on the date being available, but my in-law family lives in Connersville so it's close for me get too. I'd make it out there if can. Let me know when and I'll try my best.

The tournament will be on May 21st and launch time will be 7 am or 7:30. We fish 6 hours from launch time. We fish for crappie and bluegills. It is a 2 man team that can weigh in 20 fish which makes for a great fish fry afterwards. We also have 2 big fish pools, each a dollar apiece and both are optional. The one pool is biggest crappie or bluegill only. The other is biggest fish of any species. We added this second pool on our last tournament because someone caught a bass in our first one and was upset they could not count it. You can get in either, both or none of them. You can fish from shore or boat and can use live bait or artificials. If you for some reason can't find a partner you can be a one man team. The first tournament we did the entry fee was $10 a person or $20 a team. The one we did in the fall we just did $5 a person or $10 a team. There is not a big pot to win but it is more about us getting together as a club and going out fishing and having a good time. The fish fry isn't bad either. Hope it works out for you to make it. Let me know if you have any questions. We will have lake maps there if you need one.
