I have a friend that fishes for Steelhead in the rivers of Northern Michigan.
He's looking for a 10 foot "noodle rod" so he can use 6 or 8 pound test line.

He told me these rods are typically custom built and he's looking for a source.
    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Cabela's used to have Mocco's amazing doodle-socking jigger pole. Can't promise they still do, but if not I have the number here some where for the importer, an ole boy in Dallas named Micheal Cobb. Haven't talked to him in a while, but at one time he had a panfish version and a heavy version for bass and such. I will try to find the number and post it later. Woody

Bill:  You didn't mention a price range. G. Loomis, Gary Loomis (related?) and Cabela's all offer off the shelf steelhead rods in a variety of prices. I'm sure there are others out there as well as a variety of custom manufacturers. Tom
