Hey I just got a fishouflage hoodie and I love it.  I recommend it, I got the crappieflage but the others look good too.  It was my early valentines day present.

Lucky you and congrats. Always thought the stuff looked good albeit a bit expensive--but it looks good.

I agree. I'd like to get my boat covered with the bassouflage wrap!

Bass-boat-oflage, now that does sound good. Justdave could use Salmon/steelhead0flage and Cheri could use Muskieoflage. That would be some nice looking boats.

I don't know about a camo boat, but when shore fishing I have found that camo improves my catch rate. For years I fished in a set of BDUs that my son was kind enough to pick up for me while he was in the service. I also have a set of ACUs (the newer digital camo) but they are not as well suited to fishing as the old BDUs. I don't think the patern is as important as being a subdued color. Tom

I think your clothing is very important when fishing. I wear RealTree camo t-shirts, cap, and full brim hat when fishing. I also have a sky blue long sleeved full vented fishing shirt from Cabela's. Fish see up as well as we see down. I'm always amazed at the number of guys I see fishing in red or orange t-shirts.Personally, I think this applies to fishing line as well .I use clear mono line, and my fly fishing line (for bass) is a salt water line that is sky blue. It may be just me, but I won't use bright yellow or orange fly line in the gin clear lakes here in Arizona.

Considering the distance that a fly is from the actual fly line I doubt color is a factor. You have what, 10-15 feet of leader and tippet between the two? On the other hand, it can't hurt! Tom

I hope the club sends me some Fishouflage to test and keep! The stuff looks awesome! I imagine in some cases it could give you the advantage over other anglers. But then again, doesn't KVD wear bright colors?...

I bought a long-sleeve muskyflage performance shirt last year. It is extremely comfortable, durable, and the graphics are detailed. The only issue was that the musky was too large, so the pattern and fish placement on my shirt had no photo of the musky's head. I think I'll get the Crappieflage, Bassouflage, or Walleyeflage next time.

So, they make specific Fishouflage for each individual species of fish? I didn't know that. That's pretty cool.

That is partly true retired-psg. Because last summer I was catching 4 to 5 pound smallmouths and I was wearing an orange shirt!

I usually wear my camouflage to go fishing. Several times birds will try to land on me, thinking I'm a tree or something. One time this bird landed right on top of my head. I tried to wave it off, but it totally refused. It was fully intended on perching there. I had no choice but to totally remove my head gear. That bird was pissed off. It hovered in front of me for a few seconds to get a better look.

Now Slipperybob, that is a cool story. On the Boat-o-flage idea, the last time i was able to go to a fishing tackle show over on the coast, there were people selling baitfish decals to put on the bottom of your boat, the claim was that it would attract fish to this school of bait. No information on how well it actually works.

Now THAT'S a cool idea! I'd really like to learn more about this. Do you know who makes this product?

I vaguely remember the fish attracting decal for under the boat too. I didn't think much of it. I thought about those duck hunters more.
