I am going to be staying on Table Rock Lake in Missouri  from May 6 to May 13. My buddy and I are looking to fish a couple of the days. I was looking to see if any club members are familiar with the lake and would be available to either guide or assist with information.

We are both avid bass, pike, musky & walleye fishermen

Bill: I've posted your query over at NAFC's facebook page as well. If we get any good information in reply, I'll post it for you here! -- Regards, Web Guy Greg

Bassboss: It has been years since I fished Table Rock, but I can share this much. Public access is very limited and fishing will be a problem unless you have a boat handy. There is a state park at the west end of the lake near Eagle Rock and there might be some shore access there. You also might be able to rent a boat. I have heard that the walleye fishery has improved recently and the bass and crappie have been historically good. Last time I was there no-one could buy a bass but the crappie, some of them quite large, were biting so it wasn't a total loss. I fished stick-ups in the creek arms, but due to the size of the lake, where you are could be different. Tom

    Thx Pillman.

We contacted one guide but wanted to know what our options might be. Who did you use?

I have been told that night & morning fishing are best there because of the fishing pressure on that lake.

I set up my day with a guide I found here on the boards, but he had to go to Alaska and help a friend open a new lodge. He set me up with another guidenamed Bill, but I can't remember his last name. We had a pretty fun 1/2 day of fishing. We launched at a ramp not too far from the dam. sorry I can't remember more.
