Let's see some of the strange things I've caught have been: Logs, underwear, piece of a boat seat, a feedbag with a dead deer in it.

One time while catfishin' I reeled in an old bicycle!
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

I'm assuming it was dead, right?

one time while fishing for sturgeon on the san mateo bridge in S.F. bay. I hooked a piece of rebar that weighed about ten Lbs. it was part of a ladder system on the side of one of the bridge pillars, it took about twenty minutes to get it up enough to get it in a drop net, turned out to the the biggest catch of the night

While fishing for Blackfish, my rig was snagged in the rocks, after working in out of the bottom i reeled in a homemade wreck anchor with about 20 ft of anchor rope attached. With in the tangled mess was about a dozen or so bank sinkers and old rusty hooks. It was a good catch considering the cost of sinkers can add up...

Once while fishing off a pier I snagged my line. I went back the next day and hooked a "fish". I pulled up my old rig with an 3 foot eel skin attached to it. That still boggles my mind to this day how an eel skin would get attached to my hook.

The head of a wild turkey. It turned out to be plastic and most likely the type used by taxidermists.
You should see the new rod and reel I got for my wife. I feel like it was a pretty good trade.
