The catfish are finally hitting on Barkley from the shore. My son, daughter-in-law and I went out yesterday and caught three right away that went about 4 lbs apiece. No sooner had we started catching them and the sky opened up and here came the rain. Nice and heavy. Cats stopped biting and we headed home. Hope to get back out tomorrow. Can't wait for the lake to rise more so I can get the pontoon boat out on the water. |

Thats great Jim! I'm glad someone around here is catching fish. I've been out 2 or 3 times trying to catch trout, but I didn't have any luck. Keep us posted if you made it back out today. |

The bass are hitting pretty good on Ky. Lake, at least they were yesterday. We had a BFL tournament and it took 27+ pound to win. Big fish on boater side was 8lb 8oz. co-angler big fish was 7lb 2oz. Hope you guys doing great. Late,r Woody |

I went out this morning to a FINS lake. Lake Pollywog in Grant county. Caught 6 trout, but couldn't get the channels to bite. Those were my first fish of the year. It was a great day to get out. Do you guys think we're the only Ky members around here? |

Glad someone is getting to fish, and even catch a few. Worked a tournament on Dale Hollow this week end, had really good weather falling and dingy water made for some light bags. Only took fifteen pounds to win on boater side. Jim was you at the store around 4:30 this afternoon? See you all later. Woody |

Hey Woody. My son and I were at the store yesterday afternoon, but, I don't remember what time it was. Were you there with a bass boat gettin gas? I asked you about plates on boat trailers? If so, that was me. Jim. |

I didn't stop at the store, but thought I remembered you saying you had a tan and rusty small pickup. There was a boat there also. Place was really quite busy, so I just passed by on way home |

Went out yesturday morning. Took my nephew to the closest trout spot. After about a half hour we packed up and tried a new spot I've never fished at. After an hour of fishing for channels and blugill I switched up and started after bass. First cast to a rock wall landed me my first bass of the year. A largemouth right around a pound. Normaly a fish that size wouldn't excite me, but it was just over 30 degrees outside. |
