Different states may have different options, but I don't know about licenses through the site that would never expire. Washington for instance used to raffle off 2 lifetime licenses every quarter, but as of January 2011, not anymore. They stopped before I won mine |

Most states have a lifetime license but they are pricey! I guess for a youg person it is a good deal if you can afford it. I regret not buying a lifetime years ago, but at the time a resident lic. was only $2.25 (it's $15 now). The club does not sell licenses. Tom |

No licences here you would have to go to each individual states dept. of natural resources site for that. |

Fishin' license that never expirers? Yeah, they keep them right next to the live bait that never dies and the beer that never gets warm! |

Some states do offer a lifetime license but they are usually pricey. In Illinois the current price is $435. |

Arkansas has 65 Plus Lifetime Fishing License ($10.50) 65 Plus Lifetime Hunting License ($25) 65 Plus Lifetime Combination License ($35.50) (which I possess) plus a lifetime trout permit for $5 more (age 65+) and for any age a Nonexpiring Lifetime Resident Hunting and Fishing Sportsman’s Permit ($1,000) All are subject to permanent forfeiture due to accumulation of game violation points, so for folks tending to mess up frequently a lifetime permit is probably not a wise investment. |

Man, I feel like odd man out! Ohio must be the only state that doesn't offer a lifetime license.

Oregon does not have a lifetime license, but does have a free "Pioneer License" for 50 year residents 65 years of age. You still have to purchase your Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, Halibut tag but the license is free. My mom has one and I'm a little over 4 years to qualify on the age part.
