I haven't been in forever but I plan on going soon. I'll probably hit a local lake before I head to any good waters. |

My son Shaun & I got the boat out and on the water today at Lake Moultrie. We could not fish the main lake due to the wind, so we fished the canal and caught 2 large channel cats, while fishing for crappie with small shiners and they were caught with 6lb main line with 4lb leader line, 3 real nice crappie, 2 large and 3 small perch. We watched a male and female eagle perched in a tree not far from us, saw 3 large gators swimming around and i couldn't believe my eyes at seeing over a 100 or so commorants together and that to me is a real bad thing. They can destroy a great fishery. My son took pics with his phone and as soon as i can i can post a few pics. |

I did fish a local lake a few weeks back but didn't do much but at least I was on the water finally. I love seeing the Bald Eagles but hate seeing the cormorants. They are so many on Lake Wateree its sickening. |

I fished a little Wednesday but didn't get anything. It was a small local lake so I didn't expect to catch much anyway. Nice pictures. |

I fished Lake Wateree Monday but only caught one cat over ten pounds. Caught plenty of bait so I figured I wouldn't do so great. |

southern NH has been behind a few weeks with the pre-spawn, but hopefully with the waters finally getting around the 60 degree mark more through out the area, more beds will be showing up. unfortunately weather has not been in our favor yet this season here. Hasn't stopped fish from hitting though, Canobie Lake in Salem, NH gave us a decent day a couple weeks back, Bunch of largemouths tucked up real tight to shore, they were fanning there, made the day tolerable in the wind. one nice 5 pound was the best of the day, and they all came on spinnerbaits, so they were willing to chase. It's the smallies that im after though! |

Oh yeah she did fight. Was using 25# Cajun Line with a white perch. I've only caught three Flatheads in my life and they were 35, 36 and 42 lbs. Thank you. |

I hope to get back down to Santee this fall if I have the time. I'm currently waiting on my boat trailer to be welded so I can go again somewhere close by the house. |
