    I'm trying to take digital photos of some lures to post on a website, but the gloss from
    the paint causes a terrible glare in the pictures. Anyone have any advice?

    Use strong lighting to illuminate the lures and turn off your flash on the camera. Position the lures to get the least amount of glare.

    Take it outside on a nice bright and shinny day. Also there should be a setting on the camera for a close up view it might help.

    Use the camera on manual mode. Adjust the ISO on your camero to 800 or 1600.

    If nothing else, the bathroom usually has pretty good lighting in there.
