    Hey fellow fisherman, its my 1st time out for walleyes and Im a shore fisherman. I was wondering where i can catch walleyes from shore when the water temp is 45 degrees?

    Hard to say without your location. Right about now the 'eyes tend to head up rivers preparing to spawn. In NE IL they are just showing up below the dams on some of the rivers. Tom

    I am on a resovaire in Nebraska called Wehrspann Lake and theres rip rap on the dam with some points. max depth is 27 ft but im from shore. What lures should i use?

    How deep is the water where you fish are you fishing? off a pier, or a dock or strictly from shore, can you cast to a drop off? I like to use countdown and husky jerks. if the water is cloudy use chartruse, fire tiger, if you have clear water black and silver or blue and silver, also trout colors work well. reel slow.

    Yah i can cast to dropoffs. I have access to the entire body of water. there is a peir with rocks and fairly deep water next to it. Its pretty close to the creek chanell 2.

    After the spawnyou should be able to get walleye on shore that is getting hit with wind. It stacks up the bait fish againest the shore.
