There is a Deer Lake where I live Zilch. In Washington. I grew up swimming ,water skiing and lodging there. Too bad I never seriously fished it. I was young. I vividly remember seeing and trying to catch some big largemouth bass there. They wouldn't hit our lure we made out of pipe cleaners casted from a canoe filled with three loud kids! Go figure! (That was at least 7 years before I even knew what bass were or what bass fishing was all about)

    Hey CQ,
A cousin of mine has stayed in a cabin on the lake in years past for a family vacation. He is not a fisherman but toured around the lake in a boat that came with the rented cabin. This year he wants to try fishing and invited me to go and that is why I was looking for some info. It does not look like I will get any. Oh well, we will have a good time, but does not look like any fish will be on the grill.

Give this a shot for your info, it is straight out of the DNR website "Lake Finder". It along with a call to the Fisheries Office in that area should get you started on gaining the info you need for a good fishing trip.
