Obviously there are more than 3 Ky members on here. Maybe Jim, Woody, and myself are the only active posters, but there are more of you here reading this.

My question is: Would you like to participate in a Ky member meet? A simple yes would be great if you would like to. The rest of the info will be posted here later so that you will not need to post again(unless to say I'll be there). If you're not interested than no reply is fine. I know our active members would like a meet, and we also plan on entertaining at least two other members from out of state. If anyone would like to make this happen please let me know. Thanks.

(PM me if you would like, and all personal info will be kept just as that, personal)
    Fred

So far we have 30 views on this post Jim. Maybe the three of us should hammer out the details and we might get more activity. I guess it's going to be the old "if you build it, they will come" concept. Any ideas? I would like to try to keep it somewhere central, but I cant seem to find anything worth while.

For sure they shouldn't have no problem finding s place arount these parts. Especially on Ky lake, there's a bunch of camp grounds and resorts, and more than a few here on Barkley

There is some planning going on concerning a get together and the Ky/Barkley area is one of the locations being considered. When details are available, Fred will have them. Tom

LOL. I'm not much older buddy, 28. Anyway. I prefer ponds more than anything else. I usually don't have a bunch of time to fish, so I like to get in and set up quickly.

Well, boys, I haven't posted in a bit, so thought I'd check in. Not much new around here, the lakes are about summer pool, almost all the tourist are gone after Memorial day weekend, and its HOT. Getting ready to go to Mississippi this weekend to do BFL tourney on lower Pickwick, picked up my work boat yesterday, Z521 Ranger w/250XS Merc. It's probly the nicest boat I'll ever get to use or have in my yard. Best part is I can use it anytime I'm not working a tournament just as if it was my own boat. Hope all here are doing great, and you know I'll be back soon

Well, I survived Mississippi, but dam it was hot. 105 in the shade when I went out to start check in, but like I said we all made it thru. They caught an awful lot of fish, even one over 9 pounds, but as you might guess, lots didn't make it water temp was around 85 degrees and they caught most on ledges. Little over 22 pound on boater side, and 23+ on co-angler side to win. Hope all of you guys are makin it ok with the heat, and the ones around Bowling Green didn't have much storm damage today. Later guys

I guess everyone has given up on the site, at least all from Ky. I check every day when I'm home, and I'm home from Sunday thru Thursday most weeks, but there just doesn't seem to be any interest here. Going to Indiana this weekend for a tournament, then should be off til August if nothing changes. Hope all are well, and by the way I did get to go fishing in the new Ranger boat last Thursday for a little while, caught one keeper smallmouth ( about 2.5 lb.) and several short fish, all in all a good day. Hope you guys are getting to fish some, see you later.
