Went out yesterday to fish my local pond and had surprisingly good results. In a matter of an hour and a half I was able to land 3 bass between 15 and 18 lbs and a channel cat of 22! And all of this on one slice of Wonder bread! Tom

It took me a second or two, then I realized it's APRIL FOOLS.

I was beginning to think that a sense of humor was lacking in most members! Tom

Wonderbread is also a great pattern for salmon trolling spoons. Tom

good job Tom. I was wondering what the responses would be. surprised no one called BS on you. the only problem is it is like crying wolf. when you do land that 18+ bass.

Best catch ever?! I remember reading about a boat of fisherman who had pretty much fished all day and caught nothing--been there and know how they must have felt (they were great fishermen). As they approached the shore, a Man on the shore told them to cast their nets on the other side. Upon doing so, the nets held so many they were afraid of the boat turning over. They in turn got out of the boat and pulled their overflowing nets to the shore. I've been fishing with that Man and I highly recommend you join up with Him. Great Fishing and may your nets and heart be full during this Easter Season! Uncle Tom and Family.
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

The odds of anyone catching an 18# bass in Northern Illinois are slim and none! Around here a nine lb fish gets you lifetime braggin' rights. Tom
