Anyone else had a problem fishing in the river because of the silver carp? I went to the river in about October of last year and the silver carp were so thick, I couldnt tell a real bite from them hitting my line. Anyone know a part of the river not that infested? I live in Edwardsville

I took some buddies up from Kaw point to the 435 bridge and one jumped into the boat. They seemed to be mostly in the slack or very slow current. The law states we are not to return them to the water alive. I didn't know that, at the time. As far as knowing an area free of them. I'm not sure there is one.
