There are lots of different spiderwire lines from mono, to braid, to flourocarbon...

Spiderwire has been around a while, it was one of the original braids sold for for fishing line. Now they not only have more than one braid product but mona and fluoro also under the "spider" name. Lots of information on braids on some of the older posts and you can always type in a name on your web browser and get tons of info.

Years ago I had some very bad experiences with Spiderwire Fusion. I have since used many different brands of braid and fused line and been very satisfied, to the point of using it 90% of the time on both spinning and baitcast reels. Have had some issues on spincast reels though. Tom

I use spiderwire often. I do not have a lot of line memory. I believe that they have more than just braid but all I use are the braids. I would recomend this line with one footnote. If you use 20 pound test (like I do for bullreds) bring some leather work gloves.

Anyone who fishes with braid should carry a 6" piece of broomstick or dowel rod to use in case of a hang up. I am not sure even leather gloves are enough to protect your hand if you need to give a good pull. Tom

While on the subject of fishing line, I have recently been looking for some hi vis line. I haven't been picky on color or brand but have had a difficult time finding any. I finally found a spool of Trilene Sensation at what I felt was an exhorbitant price but wanting it I paid the price to avoid shipping charges. Tom

Tom, Let me know how that Trilene Sensations is. Been curious about purchasing it myself. I'm stocked up with line right now, but next time I buying new line, when the time comes up would consider it.

Sensations is a pretty good line, especially in the low stretch department.

The first spool of Sensation I bought was either 6 or 8 lb test in clear and I am really pleased with it. My recent purchase was 10# solar orange and I'm not sure if it is the color or the test but it is a lot stiffer with a lot of memory. I am hoping that a few times using it will settle it down. If not I am going to try some line conditioner. This stuff promises to be like fishing with a slinky. Tom
