So now that I actually am looking at it a little closer, since I've never paid much attention to it before. I see that there's the obvious staged lure on the fish now. I see that there's a palomar knot used on the lures too.

I guess that just gives me ideas on how to spread my fisherman lies...I mean stories of my hot lures.   Since people sometimes try to grill me for what's the hot lure.  Then again, I wonder about the other fishermen who always spread false info.  You know liars who thinks everybodyelse are liars.  If you tell them the truth, they just assume it's a lie.

    Uh......ok.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

The old saw is "All fishermen are liars, except for you and I and lately I've been wondering about you"

An oldie, but always a goodie, Pegs. Hope you've had a good summer, with plenty of fishing--and catching!

I dont get it? I guess I am gullable because I like to think what is the purpose of it? When I find the fish I don't jump on the radio and tell people were I am catching but I don't get what good lying does? I prefer to stay away from packs and often find lots of fish while the "Pack Boats" are all pissing an moaning. I just listen and laugh, eventually a few will get the idea to come and check it out, not a biggie, there are plenty of fish for all and you don't have to be running eachother over. A couple weekends ago we were out and there were 100+ boats ~2 mi north and west of us and probably another 100+ boats east and north of us about a mile, everyone was chattering back and forth that they were not catching fish, we were fishing alone for a couple hours until we were about done and a couple boats came by and asked how we were doing. I told them we were about ready to leave and thats all they needed to know, they started catching fish as soon as they were set up. We had that spot pretty much to just a few boats for 3 days, it was nice for a change.

Just for the record, if I can help someone catch fish by providing some information, I do it. I save my best stories (lies actually) for my partners back at the cabin.  Kurt--NAF Ed.
