Hey guys, Mike here. Once Sterling Heights, then Roseville, and now Mt. Clemens. Just a stone's throw from LSC.
The only constant is change. Lifer 2007.

Hi Pillman!  We went a couple of times last summer to Lake Lansing.  Caught a few bass the first time.  The next time was so windy our tiny boat had waves coming in, so we had to quit right away.  I'm planning to go again this year.  I think there are a lot of bass in there, considering how quickly we caught those others.

mostly Lake St Clair and Stoney Creek for me, Dave. I'd love to try the Detroit River since that's where my Dad got his 37-incher when I was just a lad

Western Michigan, Big Rapids to be exact. Used to live near Hardy and Croton Dams. Some of you may remember my old ID "hardyareaguy". Things have changed significantly in the last year and a half.  I've bought a 1992 Bass Cat boat and will be doing some tournament fishing this year.

I also love to ice fish and fishing for most any fish, not huge on pan fish, but can enjoy the easy joys of being on the water and fishing.

If you get up this way, or down for the "up north" members.

so whats everyone been catching this year in the great lake state? and has anyone tried the new nanofil yet im trying to get some reviews before i just spend that kinda money on 125 yd. on a high note i love my fire line. but its not always the right choice when fioshing with light lure and top water nanofill is suposed to be as strong and light weight and work like mano. so if any fellow michiganders can help me out if they have tried it and let me know yay or nay
