I am make'in slip bobbers for my brother and I, my problem is I can't find the plastic tube used to insert thru them. They are 3/16" outside diameter, I bought a couple aluminum tubes but am afraid the edges may shread the line after repeated use. I would appreciate any info on where I could find this tubing, length doesn't matter.

You may consider doing external sliders as an alternate.  The one's I modified are former bobbers, but the real concept came when I didn't have a bobber and used a piece of stick.  I used to just cut little slits into the stick but sticking a cheap hook into the stick worked really good.  So I use the eyelets from cheap hooks for the sliders.  Put those eyelets over the ends of the center tubes and you will won't have to worry about the line getting cut up by the tube ends.

That's really a good idea slipperybob.  Also, the tube ends won't get hacked up by the line either!

I make a lot of my own jig heads, so I always have a ready supply of hooks with a 90* eye on them. Should work perfectly for this! Tom

I have used screw eyes too, they're inexpensive and work well. You must predrill as these tiny screw eyes will twist off easily.
