I have a BPS Extreme and love it. I have several reels and rods and line that are BPS branded products and every one of them is a quality item. I won't hesitate to buy BPS brand items.

I would agree with bass or bass i to have several of the bass pro brands and i can not say anything bad about them and would not hesitate to buy more. I do buy alot of tackle ,rod and reels and 99 percent of the time i get it all at b.p.s.great prod. I hope this helps, good luck with what ever you go with..JOHN

Thanks for the replies guys, from everything ive read and heard it sounds like the bass pro brand is not just another"house brand" but actually makes quality products worth the money

You are 100% right they are not just another house brand.  they are excellent products that hold up well.  the johnny morris spinners come with 2 spools one for braid and one for mono/floro  and the carbonlites are super light, durable and affordable.  All I use now is BPS reels.  I see no reason to pay more for other brands.  They also have several good lines of rods to go with their reels.

sorry it took me so long to get back on, Thanks again for the replies, i really love the BPS pro qualifier, it seems almost impossible to throw a backlash and its as smooth as silk, dont know why i would need to ever go with a different reel.
