Sufix 832 braid is working out well. Mine has worn it's color off on the last few yards of it. Was fine with four or five days of hard fishing and then it suddenly wore off one day. I thought I grabbed an old rod combo but looked again carefully and wasn't. |

Most braid will lose its color over time but the strength and castability has been worth for me ! |

I use P-Line Floroclear almost exclusively. I have tried many, many lines including several from Trilene and Stren. Floroclear definitely performs better than Trilene lines for me. I have tried Silver Thread lines too and have to say I'd use them over Trilene or Stren. In fact I pulled out some 10# Super Silver Thread I had left over from a few seasons back and decided to spool it onto my baitcaster(yes, my one and only as I much prefer spinning gear for most situations). It still works great and I do like the way it performs on the 'caster better than on my spinning gear. Overall though P-Line Floroclear is my number one pick for everything from my ultralight rigs to my heavy freshwater/saltwater rigs and works great for me in most bass fishing situations including finesse presentations and fishing in cover with monofilament. A close second for this category is Maxima Ultragreen as it performs better for me on spinning gear than P-Line CXX and Power Pro braid is my number one choice for heavy cover fishing with braid. |

My favorite is Berkley Trilene Original, but I've just recently started using Stren Flourocarbon. It works pretty darn good, too. |

That's a tough question. I have alot of favorite lines. I like Trilene for mono, PowerPro for braid, Berkley Vanish flourocarbon.

Recently I've been using Trilene XL and it hasn't let me down. It's affordable and performs excellently. I also use P-Line Spectrex Braid |

On spinning I will use Berkly Trilene Smooth Casting. Never had a problem. On baitcasting I use Spiderwire steath or Power pro. |

Since my last post on this thread, I have been putting Western's Tufline XP through the paces. This is really good braid, considering the price is lower than most other top brands, a real bargain! Also have been using Berkley's new Nanofil...great line but the price is a little high. How can this stuff feel so smooth in your hands but make so much noise through the guides? I think it might be worse than regular braid about this! |

Does Nanofil sink or float? I have gone to braid or fused line almost exclusively but would like a spool or two of something that sinks. I am leaning towards 832 for this. |

Nanofil does float Pegsguy, but I'm using it for soft plastics with a flouro(sinks) leader and it works fine. Actually, I kind of like it floating in front of me where it goes into the water...great for line watching. Another option might be topwater, you could really launch those Jitterbugs, Hula Poppers, and other light lures with this stuff!
