Although they aren't too big, they're the first bass I've caught this year.

When I posted this topic, the first two bass I caught this year were the last two in the album, but now they are the the second to last two.  The last bass photo in the album is of my third bass of the year.  I caught that one on a Rebel Bumble Bug on Friday.  It was pretty small, like my first two of the year.  I also caught another one on Friday, but I didn't take the time to post the picture on my site, as my computer is really slow and the bass was only four inches.

Pretty small, but about the same size as the first few trout I caught this year!

Yeah, the lake I was fishing at has produced extremely well for me in the past.  I've caught a several bass over 3 lbs. in it, as well as two that were around 5 lbs.  It's full of bass and it's really underfished.

It also has a good sunfish population.  Most of them are small, although there are some hogs.

I love lakes that are underfished! That's where I caught my trout. One whole side of the lake has no houses on it because the land is privately owned and the ocean is a couple miles away so it doesn't really attract too many fisherman.
