I live quite a ways from Lacrosse, WI, so I really can't make it to the next members meet.  Will there ever be a meet in Michigan?  Lake St. Clair would be a nice place for the meet.

The NAFC club does not sponsor/ put on the meets listed ...we the members have started them on our own to fish with other members here on the BB... so if your question is addressed to the club don't hold your breath... in fact myself and other have been asking for 12 years for the club to put our meet dates and contact info in the magazine so member who do not have computer access have a chance to contact us and / or attend...we're still waiting...

There are several member from your area (lower Mich) who attended the Gwinn (UP Mich) meet for several years who might be interested in getting together... the only way to get one started is to start one on your own.... just pick a place to fish..... set a date and time and ask member to join you.. .. I would suggest to set up the first meet for a day or two and just go fishing and have fun... a meet is a meet even if only one member attends .. if it works out then those of you who attended can plan for the following year and invite more members to come..

Fisherfanatic, this year is probly a no-go because of the family trip to Poland, but I'm gonna try one of my mini-meets next spring.

there use to be a gwin meet you can see if there would be interest in restarting one you will have to start over from scratch .
find a location that you can all get together at that will accommodate what you intend to do . example would be If more then a day is there a campground that can accommodate you. camping tent, rv hook up , cabins ,or hotel near by, is there a lake close by and a place to launch and store there boats.
as for meals it can be a bring your own or a community meal pot luck type . Do you want to have door prizes .Do a gear swap , you can make it into anything you want .

I'm in southeast MI and near the Irish Hills and would love a member meet!

Keep an eye posted for June of next year. A few of us are going to try to get together for a week somewhere near the Bay de Noc...We'll post when we find a campground with cabins. We will also post a link to the campground so that you can make your own arriangements...Just say'in!

We think we found a good spot at the Gladstone point...Hoping there is room for making reservations in early June...
