OKAY, SO I HAVE TRIED PICTURES AND NEW TOPICS WITH PICTURES USING DIFFERENT WEB BROWSERS AND THEY WILL NEVER UPLOAD! I HAVE USED INTERNET EXPLORER, GOOGLE CHROME AND JUST DOWNLOADED FIRE FOX AND EVEN THAT BROWSER WON'T LET ME UPLOAD PHOTOS! IM SICK OF THIS! HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE UPLOADING PHOTOS!? BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! THIS SITE BREAKS YOU DOWN AFTER A WHILE. YOU TRY TO BE PATIENT BUT IT KEEPS BEATING YOU DOWN OVER AND OVER! SOMEONE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY I CAN'T UPLOAD PHOTOS USING THE THREE MAJOR WEB BROWSERS! WHAT SHOULD I TRY USING NEXT?! A FREAKING VCR!

This may be a result of the forum upgrade.    I just tested this, and image uploads do not appear to be working.

I'll have someone look into this first thing tomorrow (today).

Okay thank you. But this has been going on since I joined the site months ago. I just downloaded Firefox and photos won't upload using that browser either! Im not trying to be a jerk im just getting sick of not being able to share my photos and topics with my fellow members.

I have heard other people say they use photo bucket in the past. Don't know if that will still work, but may be worth a try.

Photobucket isn't a web browser though so how could I use it to access the site?

go to photobucket.com. there you can upload you favorite pics from your computer and click on share or copy the html and paste into your forum post.

Why can't I just do it from the site? That's what really irritates me. I should be able to!

I have been using photo bucket. Since I have joined, nothing has been downloading for me. On my 1 computer it shows my avatar pic and on the other com.. it doesnt show it. haha WTF..
Photo bucket is easy and free. Just send the pic to ur album in photobucket then copy the url underneath the pic. Then you can paste ur pic onto ur forum. This site by far is the worst at posting or seeing pics.

I know it's frustrating! I don't want to use Photo Bucket though. I just want the site to work properly and I just want some answers to why nothing is working!

Capt, I understand your frustration too. I've downloaded all the browsers and have had no luck..I finally used Photobucket, which seems to be the only way I can post photos..The only thing that sucks, is if you delete the photo from Photobucket, the photo you posted on the site also goes away..Matt

Hey, don't feel bad Cap'n. I tried to change my profile picture a few days ago and couldn't get the upload to take. After reading your post here, I checked to see if it had somehow miraculously updated and guess what? Now I have NO picture at all! Seems there's something rotten in Denmark. Or perhaps Minnesota...

Ha ha rotten in Denmark!? Ha ha and yes I still have not received a response about the fact that all the avatars on the site are gone as well! What gives?!

I even tried to contact them after I posted that last message and kept getting 'ERROR 404'. Today I got an e-mail saying the message failed! Well, DUH!!
Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

Finally! The avatars have returned!

I don't see any Avatars....? Mine used to be visible...but not for the last couple weeks! @#$%&*!

Yep. I changed my avatar and it did not show up for a few months and then one day without me doin anything it started appearingon my posts.

Yep site the same as it was !!!!!

I've been noticing a problem with avatar pictures more than posting photos in the forums.  Whenever I try to change my avatar nothing happens.  Sometimes it might not appear to have changed, but then, when I come back to the forums the next day, it will have changed.  On rare occasions the site makes my avatar gigantic, squeezing the text on the page into a limited amount of space.

Anyone else having problems like this?
